Q: I had burning and itching(major burning) during a course on antibiotics,assumed it was a yeast infection and used Monistat. The burning stopped after about 8 hours,but I am still itching like crazy. I am going to be checked out on Monday,but would like a little peace of mind if possible. Would Monistat have stopped the horrible burn if it WASN'T a yeast infection? I am curious.
